FAQ

Where is the studio?

PUPPY Studio
1330 S Santa Fe Ave
Los Angeles CA 90021

Parking and location info will be sent once your appointment is confirmed.

How much will it cost?

Available designs in the Flash Shop are listed with a minimum price that corresponds to the minimum size listed. If the design is done at a larger scale, the price may adjust accordingly.

For custom work, I can give you an estimate on a general idea, but typically a solid number cannot be decided until we’ve discussed the details and expectations during a virtual consultation.

A cost estimate can be approved prior to the appointment, if you’d like to prepare your finances. If you have any questions about payments or would like to discuss divided sessions for lighter budgets, reach out via email: tamponparty@gmail.com

What if I’m on a budget?

I am more than happy to work with any client’s budget. If you are interested in getting custom work but don’t have a large amount of funds, we can always collaborate on the design and divide up the piece into smaller sessions. The hourly rate remains the same, but we could operate within 1-2 hour increments depending on what you’re comfortable spending at one time.

Is there a deposit?

All appointments require a non-refundable deposit that changes based on the cost of the design requested.

If you are 15 minutes late or more, your appointment slot will be closed and your deposit will be forfeited.

Need to reschedule?

Let me know as soon as possible!

tamponparty@gmail.com

If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled less than 7 days in advance, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required for a future spot.

This is not meant as punishment, but to ease the loss of income that occurs from cancellations as a self-employed artist.

Creature Comforts?

Feel free to bring anything with you that would make you most comfortable and at ease. Headphones, blankets, pillows, plushies, snacks, and beverages are all welcome items. Pets unfortunately are not, as much as I wish they could hang with us!

I’m always up for conversation, but am more than happy to offer a silent session if preferred. Just let me know if you’d rather not engage, and I’ll keep all communication relevant to the tattooing process at-hand.

Can I bring a friend?

Plus One’s are allowed in the lobby and storefront area, but there may not always be space in the immediate tattoo area depending on the studio traffic.

How do custom tattoos work?

The typical course-of-action is to start with a consultation. When you submit your custom form, you’ll be put in contact with lil ol’ me. Together, we’ll pick a time for a virtual or in-person consultation around your schedule.

The consultation itself usually takes 20-30 minutes. We’ll discuss your ideas and expectations, and review any reference photos or source materials. After that, we’ll set up an appointment date and secure the deposit. With the deposit received, I’ll begin sketching your design!

In the weeks before your appointment, you’ll have the opportunity to review the design and request changes. Once we have a design that you’re stoked about, I’ll create a final version for our appointment that you’ll be able to view upon arrival.

If your idea is not a style of tattooing that my hands are capable of, I will let you know immediately upon receiving your request and can provide references to other artists that will best execute your vision.
